Using a prosthesis or orthosis can be overwhelming - we want to make sure you have all the tools you need to be successful. Below you will find handouts and links that will help you in your journey.

If you have received a lower limb prosthesis or orthosis from us, we strongly recommend that you do our hip exercises at least once a day. These exercises help to remind your body of how to shift your weight correctly when walking.

Navigating scoliosis can be tough. Scolios-us is an organization that gives patients resources and connections to help them understand their diagnosis and find needed support.

The Amputee Coalition is a group that provides incredible resources for individuals that have experienced amputation or have a limb difference. This website provides education, peer support, and volunteer opportunities.

Kiddos and adults with Cerebral Palsy can find activities, camps, and help with equipment through CPATH, an Austin-based nonprofit organization whose sole focus is helping individuals and families navigate CP's challenges and joys.

Great AFO sock brands include WoodleCo for kids and SmartKnit for adults, but you can find other great options online as well. We've found that Zappos Adaptive has the best compilation of AFO-friendly shoe brands available. This website also has some great information regarding split-sized shoes.
