Lower Limb Orthotics
Optimizing Function Through Bracing

When is lower limb bracing needed?
We treat patients of all ages with a wide range of neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions. Some of the most common include flat feet, cerebral palsy, stroke, spinal cord injury, and foot/ankle injuries. What brings them all to us is a limitation in mobility that we want to help resolve.
What sets us apart?
We rely on empirical evidence, clinical expertise, and feedback from our patients and their healthcare teams to ensure the devices we provide fit well and our patients are using them to their utmost potential. The treatment plans we create help each patient achieve their individual goals.

What to expect?
In the initial evaluation we check muscle strength, joint range of motion, and capture the shape and size of the limb(s) affected. We discuss our findings with each patient and provide education regarding their condition and together we create the treatment plan, consisting of the device(s) and training we will provide to help the patient achieve their goals. We then communicate with the insurance provider and have any out of pocket expenses approved by the patient. Once approved, custom device fabrication takes about four weeks, concluding with device fitting. We then provide follow up care and training as needed.
